uZap

Yesterday, I went to my mum's hometown in Kuala Sungai Baru.
(For your more information, Kuala Sungai Baru is in Malacca state. After Alor Gajah is Kuala Sungai Baru.)

Kuala Sungai Baru is a very fishing kampung and it's developing very slowly.
You can see kerbau-s everywhere.

this are kerbau-s

Kopitiam and beaches are the only hang out places.
NO McD. NO KFC. NO Pizza Hut. NO Starbucks. NO Shopping Mall. -_-

So I presumed that leave them a lot time to do their own stuff such as EXERCISE.

But mana tahu, when I went back yesterday, I saw an Osim uZAP!

uZap tummy.butt.thighs
Shape up, slim down

Wa... so canggih! uZap cost about RM700++ le...

RM700++ is a lot! I rather run around the taman like a mad woman than spend RM700++ to shap up, slim down.

But since uZap is in front of my eyes, why not try?

So I try it...

I strapped it around my tummy. And it vibrates just like your handphone but of coz, stronger vibration.

I felt so uncomfortable.
Just imagine you have a 2 kg belt tie very tightly around your tummy. And the belt is vibrating like someone pouching your tummy non-stop.

However, I continue to use it because it's free and no salesgirl bugged at me.

After few minutes, I stopped and look at the change at my "shape up" tummy.
To my dismay, I GOT A BLUE BLACK ON MY STOMACH!

There a price to pay to look good, right? So I continue to use it.
After 10 minutes, I stopped. I simply cannot tahan.
I felt like vomiting. My intestine and stomach was super duper upset. It was as if a big, big tsunami just happened in my stomach. My tummy felt very itchy too.

I will never, never tough uZap again.

COLOURS

I was just thinking about C O L O U R S

Jien is brown because mum prayed + she loves coffee

My malay coursemate is as white as the snow, not fair but white. Her mum drank tons of soya drink and milk to make sure she's born white.
(Highlight the rows above to read clearly)

I think it's not too late for me to change my skin colour too. hehe...

Since I like pink colour, I'll eat more strawberries and tomatoes.
And, not forgetting strawberry fizzy drink and the more healthy tomato soup too.
Hopefully, I'll be pinker... hehehe :)

Some people like Van on the other hand, pula super duper like purple colour. Then she can eat the purple cabbage and grapes.
And, not forgetting the grape fizzy drinks or she can blend purple cabbage into juice too. Not bad uh?

And she'll turn into...

.
..
...
....
.....
......
.......
........
.........
..........

Barney the purple dinosaur

PS - Don't try it at home, the result maybe differ. Van loves you lots... :-P

The "healed" printer's story

Last few days ago, my roomie's printer was not working for the some unknown reason.
She needed to pass up the assignment.
URGENT!!!!

So I told her about Aunty Maggie's prayer.
When I was working Tadika Permata Pintar, Aunty Maggie as the guru besar taught me a lot of stuff about God.
Indirectly, she taught me to pray, love, care, teach, patience and so on...

One sunny day, I was supposed to laminate cert. but the laminating machine couldn't work properly for some unknown reason again.
Then, here comes Aunty Maggie,
"hehe... this thing trying to be funny. Sometimes we need to lay hands on them,"
She said casually and smiled.
I was laughing away and though she was joking.
Then mana tahu, she laid her hand on the laminating machine and said a short, simple and sweet prayer.
And the laminating machine was "HEALED".
I was in AWE!

Back to my roomie's printer.
After I told about the "healed" laminating machine, I went out.
When I was back, the printer was still something wrong.
And, my roomie said, "I think you pray better."
So I prayed a funny prayer without expecting anything.

I went out again and when I came back, lo and behold, the printer was "HEALED"

If God can and want to healed the printer, God can and want to heal you TOO!

To walk a thousand miles, start with a step.
To pray for a body to be healed, start with a printer.

PS : I have a friend who prayed for a jam padlock to open. Immediately after she prayed, the padlock pop out.

Is not God great?

Ah-Jien

This is the post that you all have been waiting for.
Sorry for postponing and disappointing you all especial blhc who has been counting the days and making sure I keep my words.
Other than blogging, I have many other stuff to do such busy thinking how to get back Malacca, playing Collapse2 (blame my roomie for get me addicted) and STUDY!!!

Ahem... hopefully, this post is also to prove what a superbly, wonderfully, fantastic, great, and awesome sister I am to my so very superbly, wonderfully, fantastic, great, and awesome, one and only brother - Jien Lee

Dengan tidak membazir masa lagi, let the grandmother story began.

15 years and a week ago, a superbly incredible baby boy was born into this wonderful world. He was uniquely made by God.
Ahem... but why God made him like this uh?

21 years ago, my amazing mum prayed for a girl with a gentle spirit and with brains.
Ahem... Can ask my mum for confirmation if you want to!
So here came Sue Fin, just like what mum prayed for.
According to mum, when she was bout 2 years old, the Indian neighbor's boy likes to grab her shirt and she didn't defend for herself. *aw... so kesian*
She's still so clever, got a scholarship. Not like me, have to take loan.
Mum didn't like her lovely daughter to be bullied.

Thus, for the 2nd child, she prayed for a fierce girl that knows how to defend herself. Oh ya, she also prayed for big eyes because the 1st daughter eyes were sepit.
Then, here come Sue Ern, the big eyes baby who never, never let anyone bully her. (my eyes got smaller as I grew older. Why uh?)

When I was standard 2, Fin was standard 4. One of Fin's guy classmate liked to kacau us after school. One day, I couldn't tahan, I pulled his school uniform and wanted to give him a pinch. However mana tahu, before I could pinch him, I tore his shirt. Ops! Terlalu ganas... hahaha! Serve him right!

When I was standard 4, a guy fought with me for the reason I forgotten. He chose the wrong girl. I, the super kiasu, didn't want to lose to him. So, I fought till he cried! He complained to the teacher. He showed the teacher the scars that I scratched and pinched him. The teacher couldn't believe it. She said, "Don't lie. It's mosquito bites." muahahaha... Padan Muka. I was laughing crazily inside but later I admitted what I did. Surprisingly, the teacher said I was merely protecting myself. Hahahaha... After that incident, nobody in class dared to bully anymore, ever again.
I was young, I was super fierce, bad temper and more of a bully rather than kena bully.
My mum must had thought she prayed the not so right prayer. Muahaha...

For the 3rd child, mum prayed for a son.
She prayed for a talented and obedient son to God and parents. There were other prayer request but I can't remember.

Then, here come this marvelous Jien, exactly like what mum prayed for. *the power of prayer*

When Jien was about 3 years old, he felt on the tar road terribly. His lips was pecah, he cheeks was scratched badly. *aww... So kesian* He was crying crazily. He was desperately in pain but when mum asked him to stop crying. Guess what, he stopped crying immediately. WOW! Fuyoh! See, begitu tinggi tahap ke-obedient-annya.
Currently, he is still very obedient. *admit* What to do he is made to be obedient. Hehehe...

We discovered Jien could play by ear when he was very young. When I was grade 3, I was so lazy to practice my exam pieces. My dear piano teacher must be very keksim. I refused to practice till one sunny day Jien just flipped my book and decided to play my pieces. I was too malu that I started practicing non stop. That explains why, I play badly till now. *pssss... Jien going to finish grade 8. I'm super duper excited and proud of him. You?*

About why Jien is much darker than anyone in my family is because mum prayed for also. I had another theory, mum loves to drink black coffee. So that explains why. Hehehe... By the way, I like dark guy. Fair guys like taufu!!!! Ew...

Jien never fail to be supper generous when belanja-ing me makan-makan. *Kluang cafe, secret recipe, shakes, McDonald's...* YUM YUM! Yummycious...

Seriously, I am proud to have JIEN as my brother. *tears rolling down*touched* Truly, he is a great, great blessing to my family and me.

Love you lots, Jien.

So, am i a good sis?

The theory bout 2nd child

Lately, I have been studying for my exam.

Though at times I was tired, I enjoyed what I read.

I know myself better.
I learn a lot about my past and present.

Sometimes, I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to know more about myself.

Adler's individual Psychology included how the birth order affects an individual development. I find it fascinating and very true for me. Heh!

It stated that the 2nd child tend to be very ambitious as they attempt to compete especially with the oldest. This can result in "race-course syndrome" which fosters an achievement orientation.
That explain why I am so kiasu though I try not to. I'm 'born' to be kiasu.
I used to think I MUST be better than Fin though my academic was far behind from hers.

I'm always the top 10 squeeze through the multitude to rush in the bus. When I wait for the bus, I'll have an aim - to be the 1st to get in the bus. Hahaa... (I have to sit a bus to my class because my lecture hall is simple too far to walk. Interesting. Just imagine you can sit bus to go round your school. Hehe...)

When I was in Sunday school, I liked all the ganas-ganas competing games because I always won! All the semangat kekiasuan was used to the fullest potential. I must have hempit and kemik other kids. *sorry! -_-*

The 2nd child can grow up having difficulty feeling a sense of belonging too.
It was true too. I used to feel misfit in everywhere though I have great friends and family. I'm not the oldest nor the youngest. Pelik situation.

The last point is the 2nd child tends to be observers and mediator interested in what is going between the siblings.
Hahahahahaha... *laughing crazily* UNTRUE!
How can an ambitious and competitive person be a mediator?

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

Lately, almost every blog I surf, blogged about THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.

I got super excited about the movie too!!

So, one keksim day, I decided to loan the 'caplang' The Devil Wears Prada CD for RM1 from The House of Movie. The House of Movie is actually a room, just like mine but in the room full of DVDs and CDs to be loan. Super duper a lot. The 1st time I stepped in the room, I know there is no turning back. Hehe... ;)

Back to the story.

Erm... The CD is freaking mahal compare with other movies. Normally is RM0.FIVE0 only but since it's new then RM1.00(something wrong with my keyboard number FIVE. Help need!! Anyone?)

but the thought that I save
RM8 movie ticket
RM3 LRT to Midvalley
made me feet better.
Hehe... I'm kiamsiap! I know, I know.

Anyway, it's a great, great show. I laughed all the way through.

Not because TDWP is funny but the BM sub title is.
Here is some I caught...

fasting

During TSF, Jospeh (one of the TSF leader) asked us to reflect the past week. The fasting and prayer...
Gee... guilty of being too busy.

Then he also said during the time we fast, suddenly...
Your long lost friend will ask you out to makan
Your kiamsiap roomie will belanja you
Food somehow keep pouring over you...

Haha.. I was laughing away.

Then come Monday, I was determined to fast. Fast lunch wasn't a big deal, I though.
I told my friend that I was fasting.
She was so considerate.
"ok, then I just tapau back to eat," she said.

Then, as she was about to tapau food. A group of friends, who never asked us to makan with them, asked us that beautiful day.

Alamak! -_-888

There goes my day.

i am a SURVIVOR

Last week was a super duper, duper hectic week. Everyday I slept after 4am and wake up at 8am. After I passed up my assignment on Friday, I terus pengsan.

Last week, I did fast few days but I don't think it was counted as fasting since I didn't really pray. I was just to busy to even eat a proper meal. So I didn't really fast.

I managed to finish my 100+ pages assignment on time.
I had to do a job description scrap book. My group chose accountant. This lecturer super 'mafan'. He wanted it to be attractive, colorful and full of picture. My group couldn't have finished it without the help of...

Eliz my beloved specky roommate stayed up till 3am to help me do the cover. Wish I had a camera. It was so nice and creative!

Hsiang Ping who leaned us her zigzag scissors but ended up decorating the book scrap till 4am.

Vincent the great auditor, all the way from Malacca, helped to take photos of his workplace. He was super busy. One day, he reached home about 1am. Fuyoh! Despite the circumstances, he successfully sent me the pictures.

Jenny the super kind helped Vincent to sent the pictures to me!

Terhutang budi to them...
My group spends about RM130 for the book scrap.
Papers, printing, and binding are super expensive!!! I'm BROKE.

The Tanglung festival went well. It happened too fast. I didn't get to really enjoy it.
Eliz made the super duper tanglung for open ceromany. It was so chun.
She was so 'kuasa'. Two thumbs up for her.
Wish I could post some pictures but I tak de camera.

Just thank God that I survive. Survive it well...
I'm a survivor through Christ who gives me strength!
